The company

Central Bedfordshire Council is a unitary authority which was formed in 2009. The Business Investment and Marketing team form part of the Economic Growth, Regeneration and Skills department. This team is the Council’s strategic lead on business growth, job growth, skills training and infrastructure to help to enable business growth – all to support a growing population. Services are delivered through working in partnership with other public and private service providers, government agencies and businesses as well as voluntary and community sector organisations.

Strategic requirement

To deliver a series of business clinics in Central Bedfordshire to provide opportunities for businesses to receive pre-booked advice sessions.

The solution

Tacit Fusion was appointed through a competitive tender process to deliver a series of five business clinics. Through Wesley’s previous experience in designing and delivering business clinics, Wesley has helped to shape the series of business clinics to make an effective formula for delivering business support.

The clinics have provided a forum to build and strengthen relationships with the companies who attended and to provide a platform to offer further assistance. Feedback from the clinics so far has been positive, with comments from the companies attending such as “I highly recommend the clinic for any business undergoing change or rapid growth.”
